Jeff Thober In 11 years as girls’ basketball coach for Ravenna High School, Coach Thober has compiled 218 wins and 83 losses. In 2004 Ravenna Girls made it to state in the first time in school history making it to the state finals and finishing as runner up. Two years later the girls’ teams made it back to the tournament and were able to capture the class C-2 State Championship. The 2009 team finished with a perfect record of 27 - 0 and brought home Ravenna’s 2nd State Championship. The Blue Jays have also won the Lou Platte Conference Tournament 5 out of the last 8 years. This year Coach Thober has been selected by his coaching peers to be head coach of blue team for the Nebraska Coaches All-Star game in July.
